Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay's birthplace was Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's founding family, utilised her amazing abilities as a writer and her formidable research skills in order to produce the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book The book, No Man has a clue about My History was published in 1945. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith who was the founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by saying: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know my feelings." No one knows my story. In reality I'm not even sure. Fawn (29 years old) wrote that after her confessional moment, three-hundred writers have risen to the event. A lot of them have denigrated him and some have deified him; Some have experimented with clinical diagnosis it is not the fact that these documents lack information, the issue is that they are fiercely contradictory. It is a difficult task to assemble these documents and separate first-hand stories from third-hand copies and fitting Mormon accounts with those of non-Mormon people into a coherent collage. It's both thrilling and instructive. Such was the task to which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Her research and writing immortalized her with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens.
