Liz Vassey's acting career began at just 9 years old. From then on, Liz has been in more than 50 stage and musical productions. She relocated from the south of England to New York at the age of 16 and was a part of the cast of All My Children. In recognition of her work her character was nominated a Daytime Emmy. Liz is most famous for playing DNA Technician Wendy Simms in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It was a role she played for five years. Additionally, Liz was in various films and pilots. Swallow was born in Florida's Jacksonville. She received a bachelor's degree from University of Virginia in Middle Eastern Studies. Swallow earned her acting master's in the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. On television and film Swallow was in both the court and on the side of the law. She played a detective on Ringer as well as a detective's wife in Southland and a bounty hunter in The Odds CBS pilot The Odds a bank robber on Medium and an American RV-traveling hooker on The Lucky Ones. Swallow also played an mermaid in Flight of the Conchords, and the Shana Sosin-directed indie movie The Rift.
